Moshchun
This small village was a strategically important position for the invaders, since by taking it, they could go to Kiev. It was at Moshchon that Russia threw skilled fighters and a significant amount of equipment. The Battle of Moshchun became one of the most important battles in the defense of Kiev in March 2022.
Gostomel
The artillery of the brigade supported the actions of other units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces during the fighting for Gostomel Airport.
Irpin
The Black Zaporozhts, together with the soldiers and the 80th Separate Assault Brigade, destroyed the invaders who were trying to break through to Kiev. Due to this, the Ukrainian military pinned down the invaders in the vicinity of Irpen and the surrounding towns, continuing to push the enemy away from the Ukrainian capital.
Brovary
The defense of Brovary is part of the battle for Kiev. The fighting directly in the Brovarsky district began on February 28, 2022, when the first columns of Russian troops penetrated the villages of Mokrets, Bervitsya and Zavorichi. The active repulse of the aggressor began with the maintenance of the borders along the Trubizh River and ended with the defeat of a column with Russian armored vehicles on the M01 highway near the village of Skibin. During these battles, the commander of the 6th Panzer Regiment was eliminated. In the future, the fighting became remote.
